Cécile AVIO was appointed Knight of the National Order of Merit under the 1st Minister under the Associative by decree of the President of the Republic on May 29, 2019.

Cécile Avio is recognized for a distinguished merit marking her attachment to the values of the Republic and more particularly to the actions she has been carrying out for thirty years in the context of disability.

This distinction recognizes his investment in his Dance and Handicap training and the recognition of his involvement in the transmission of the values of solidarity and the inclusion of people with disabilities throughout France and internationally.
