National HandiDance
In 2010, Cécile AVIO made official the first HandiDanse National Meeting, and in 2012 the first HandiDanse National Competition, so that several hundred dancers could express themselves on stage over the space of 3 extraordinary days.
In 2024, the 1st edition of HandiDance Week was inaugurated to meet the growing demand for participation from all dancers.
This Week, which includes the National HandiDance Meeting and Competition, is complemented by a number of new events.

Our vision
The FHDAI is guided by a clear vision: that of promoting inclusion and equal opportunities through Dance.
Inclusion is not just a concept, it is a moral and social imperative.
It recognises diversity as a source of treasure, enabling individuals, regardless of their abilities, to contribute fully to the complex fabric of community life.
Promoting inclusion means building a stronger , more resilient and more empathetic society , where everyone has the chance to find their place.
The Handidance Practice allows everyone not only to participate, but also to excel in the art of Adapted and Inclusive Dance.
The FHDAI embodies the value of diversity through an ongoing commitment for over 30 years to equal opportunities.
The aim is for everyone to have equal access to the opportunities and resources they need to develop through Dance.
